About the Founder

Hello, I’m Abdul Rasheed, the founder of Plants 99.

Before beginning this journey, I worked in the corporate sector in Dubai. It was a stable and valuable chapter of my life, but I always felt drawn towards plants, greenery and the sense of calm they bring into a space.

Leaving my corporate career was not an easy decision. However, I wanted to build something that genuinely reflected my passion. That decision became the beginning of Plants 99.

Rooted in Passion

For me, plants are more than products. Growing and caring for them is something I truly enjoy.

At Plants 99, we grow part of our collection in-house, giving each plant the attention it needs. We also carefully source selected varieties from specialist growers, allowing us to offer customers a wider and more interesting collection of indoor plants.

Our aim is to make choosing plants easier—even for someone purchasing their very first plant. From individual plants to thoughtfully created combinations, we want every customer to find greenery that suits their home, lifestyle and level of experience.

Plants 99 is not a business created overnight. It is a new journey being built step by step—with patience, learning and a genuine commitment to doing things better.

We understand that customers trust us to select healthy plants, pack them carefully and provide dependable support. That responsibility guides every decision we make.
