Calathea Rufibarba Green – 12 cm Nursery Pot

A textural Calathea Rufibarba in a 12 cm nursery pot, prized for its long, wavy-edged leaves with a soft, velvety underside. A unique addition for collectors who love foliage texture over bold patterns.

**What's Included:**
One Calathea Rufibarba Green plant in a 12 cm nursery pot.

**Specifications:**
- Pot Size: 12 cm nursery pot
- Difficulty: Moderate to high care (fussier than most Calatheas)
- Light: Medium to bright indirect light. Avoid direct sun, which fades and scorches the leaves.

**Care Tips:**
- Use a loose, well-draining, peat-based mix
- Keep the soil consistently moist — never let it fully dry out or stay soggy
- Water with filtered or distilled water if possible; sensitive to fluoride, chlorine, and hard water
- Maintain high humidity (50%+) for healthy, unblemished foliage
- Keep in a warm spot away from drafts, AC vents, and cold windows
- Leaves fold up in the evening ("prayer plant" movement) — this is normal

**Important Notes:**
- Images are for reference only — natural variation in size, leaf count, colour, pattern, and shape is normal
- Leaf browning/curling usually points to low humidity or water quality, not necessarily a dying plant
- Non-toxic, but always supervise pets and children around houseplants
