**Difficulty:** Easy care, great for beginners

**Light:**
Adaptable. All three tolerate standard indoor and lower light, but the Aglaonemas' red and pink are most vivid in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sun, which scorches the leaves.

**Care Tips:**
- Use a loose, well-draining potting mix for all three
- ZZ Plant: let the soil dry out completely between waterings. It stores water in its rhizomes
- Aglaonemas: let the top layer of soil dry slightly between waterings, and avoid waterlogging
- Tolerates average to low room humidity; no misting needed
- Keep in a warm spot away from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes
- Growth naturally slows in lower light or cooler months

**Important Notes:**
- Natural variation in size, leaf count, colour, pattern and shape is normal across all plants
- Toxic if consumed (ZZ and Aglaonema) — keep away from pets and children
- ZZ plants are very slow-growing; patience is normal, not a sign of a problem
