**Difficulty:** Easy care, ideal for beginners and forgetful waterers

**Light:**
Adaptable. The Sansevierias tolerate low light very well, and the Lucky Bamboo does best in bright, indirect light but manages in dimmer spots. Avoid prolonged direct sun, which can scorch leaves.

**Care Tips:**
- Use a loose, well-draining mix (cactus/succulent mix works well) for the Sansevierias
- Let the soil dry out completely between waterings for the Sansevierias. Overwatering is the most common cause of problems
- The Lucky Bamboo can grow in water or soil. If in water, change it every 1-2 weeks, ideally with filtered water
- Tolerates dry air and average room humidity; no misting needed
- Keep in a warm spot away from cold drafts
- Very drought-tolerant and forgiving of missed waterings, so it copes well with travel

**Important Notes:**
- Natural variation in size, leaf count, colour, pattern and shape is normal across all plants
- Mildly toxic if consumed (Sansevieria and Lucky Bamboo) — keep away from pets and children
- Sheds outer leaves occasionally as it matures; this is normal
